MPX5135640: Alleged historical sex abuse victim Terry Priestner has spoken out about his battle for justice. After getting MP Ronnie Campbell to help him fight his case, he hopes other victims will come forward. He highlighted the case of his constituent Mr Priestner in parliament, after the 52-year-old alleged he was abused physically and sexually in care homes in Northumberland in the 1970s. And the vintage buses certainly attracted crowds while parked in Newcastle city centre this week as members of the Aycliffe and District Bus Preservation Society brought their vehicles out for show. From converted double deckers to models dating back to the 1940s, this group preserves part of the transport history of North East. MPX5135223: One of the vital weapons of the US Army now manoeuvring on the rugged downs and beaches of England in preparation for the invasion of occupied Europe is the giant M-25 which recovers damaged tanks and other heavy vehicles. Moving just one step behind the battle, the M-25 is completely buttoned up with armour plating for protection against enemy fire and also mounts a 60 calibre machine gun. MPX5135316: The hall of one of Newcastle's oldest banks faces demolition. Barclays Bank have applied for permission to knock down their Grey Street banking hall and fill the space with offices. The facade of the building is to be left unchanged in Barclays latest plans. It was built by John Dobson in 1836.
