"When my divorce does come through, I will marry this girl." he said, planting a kiss on the lips of 27-year-old Sandi Grant, with whom he is pictured here. Sandi, who is touring Britain with Tony, was once an actress. "But I've thrown my careen up," she said, "because Tony is such a groovy man." Blonde Sandi, from Louisiana, U.S.A. had her previous marriage dissolved eight years ago. In 1967 Tony's wife, Patricia, filed a divorce suit against him, March 1968 (b/w photo) / Bridgeman Images
MPX5158245: It Might come true! If, as the popular song says Wishing will make it so the dreams of these girls should come true in such a setting. The ancient Irish Wishing Seat has been transplanted in Primley, near Paignton, Devon, and for a few pence, you can sit in it and make your wish, but no money is refunded if results are not forthcoming. The girl on the left has a brother in Merchant Navy, and the girl on the right has her husband in the Middle East, so it's not difficult to imagine what their wishes are unless their wishes take in the world issues of today.
