MPX5127756: The last Triumph Herald - a 13/60 convertible, came off the No, 1 assembly line at Triumph Motor Company's Canley works, today. Mr. M. W. Sanders, director and general manager drove the white convertible off the line to cheers from workers. "The Herald has been a good friend to us through some difficult times," said Mr. Sanders, who was responsible for opening the Canley assembly where also the 532,412 various Herald cars have been made since the model was introduced in September 1959.
