OMG4554709: Le Train Bleu, Gare de Lyon, Paris 12. Architecture, 1900. The railway company PLM wanted to offer the Gare de Lyon for the 1900 World Exhibition a buffet that it wanted sublime. Ornaments and fresco, the former “buffet of the Gare de Lyon” perfectly represents the fine style of the second empire. On April 7, 1901, it was even inaugurated by the President of the Republic, Emile Loubet.
