The equipment provides for the test and development of structure and airframe services of large high speed aircraft to be carried out on new structural forms. The Test House covers 30,000 sq. ft. Floorspace. The main test frame is 50% wider and higher then the famous Cathedral Rig at the Royal Aircraft Establishment at Farnbourough. The Wind Tuhbel is driven by three Rrells Reyes Nene turbojet engines, each of 5,000 lbs. thrust
