MPX5161170: The British Trans-Arctic Expedition led by Wally Herbert, pictured on their return to Portsmouth in HMS Endurance. The expedition members are (left to right) Freddie Church, Allan Gill, Wally Herbert, Dr Roy Koerner and Ken Hedges. Also with them are the two huskies 'Eskimo Nell' and 'Apple Dog'.
