Biography
Adam Butler was born in Edinburgh, Scotland and studied at the Courtauld Institute of Art in London. He has been a photographer for over 20 years. His landscapes, cityscapes, panoramas, still lifes, nudes, etc have won various awards and are in numerous private, corporate and governmental collections worldwide. He also works as an interiors and architectural photographer (see www.adambutler.com). Adam lives in London, UK, but tries to spend as much time as possible in his family home on Panarea, one of the Aeolian Islands off Sicily. A book of his photographs of Panarea was published in 1998 by Iditella Press, and some copies are still available. A new book of that most beautiful of islands is currently being planned.
