Biography
Miles Thistlethwaite is an English artist and draughtsman, making large watercolours, drawings and prints of landscapes, buildings and things. An alumnus of the Royal Drawing School, he tends to work in series/sequences concentrating with intense focus on a single theme/subject. Recently these have included a single London street, clothes on washing lines, paper bags, ancient oaks, fruit and vegetables. He is currently thinking about the bumps and hollows in landscape and the shapes in fire, smoke and running water.
